What's the Big Idea about the Jovian Ball?
One feature of our corporate logo has taken on a life of its own: the ball representing the first letter O in Jovian Concepts. We like to call it the Jovian Ball.
Rich with symbolism, the Ball represents interconnectedness, the cyclical nature of communication, and the interweaving of ideas. The Ball evokes the image of a planet, which can take on two different meanings. Jupiter (our namesake planet) is known for being grand, much like the ideas generated by our innovative team. The atmosphere of Jupiter is active, so the lines that make our Jovian Ball bring to mind the constant exchange of concepts that keep our mission work and corporate culture so engaging. Meanwhile, Earth represents humility and being grounded, traits close to home at Jovian Concepts where we pride ourselves on being Down to Earth.
The Jovian Ball has been used on everything from baby onesies and sweatshirts to temporary tattoos and cutting boards. Once, it was even carved into a watermelon at a family picnic. It has become such an integral part of the culture at Jovian Concepts that our friends and employees see it in everyday items like twine balls and beach swings. Scroll through the slideshow below to see some of the places we see the favorite part of our logo.
What we like most about the Jovian Ball is that it is a simple image that represents a lot of Big Ideas.
And Big Ideas are Jovian Concepts.
