Summer Interns Share Big Ideas

Each year Jovian Concepts hosts a group of interns to work on innovative projects. With a mix of background

knowledge, education, and ages, the summer interns learn from each other and their Jovian Concepts mentors while gaining critical insight to the professional world. From business solutions to creative approaches targeting social inequity, each summer brings a fresh project encouraging interns to be Down to Earth, Up to the Challenge.

This summer the Jovian Concepts interns used a variety of technologies in an Agile environment while increasing their familiarity with systems engineering, cybersecurity, and web development. The team created a business solution with possible applications in human resources and business development. They dove into a variety of Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud technologies, including Elastic Beanstalk, DynamoDB, and Cognito. Additionally, they explored gamification and how it may encourage use of an application.

In late August the interns presented their project to an audience of Jovians, creating a buzz of excitement. With impacts on both Professionalism and Personal Growth, the application aligns to the Core Values of Jovian Concepts and can be implemented alongside some other exciting projects Jovians are generating.

We wish our interns well as they head back to school and thank them for their hard work and dedication this summer!
