Winter, like any season, is a perfect time to get involved with Jovian Concepts. If you're curious to know what our award-winning corporate culture is like, take a look at what's happening this season at Jovian Concepts.

We're partnering with our friends at Cyber Bat to host a No Limit Texas Hold'Em Charity Poker Tournament March 6th at Live! Casino and Hotel Maryland. This inaugural event benefits the Veteran Golfers Association and the STEM Education Campaign at Community College of Baltimore County. Learn more on the Poker Tournament tab of our website.

If lower-stakes table games are more your speed, join us February 22 as we host Game Night for AFCEA CMD Women in AFCEA (WIA) at our corporate headquarters on Mellon Road. We'll play some old-school favorites while networking with AFCEA members and non-members of all work backgrounds. Refreshments will be provided. For more gaming fun, we're treating Jovians and their Plus Ones to a happy hour in late winter at a newly opened video game arcade in Columbia, MD. Gaming is frequently cited as something Jovians enjoy doing during their down time, and we think a little Pac Man fits nicely with our Core Value of Balance. We're excited to see some high scores and friendly competition as we show off our gaming skills.

Our winter All Hands meetings in Augusta, GA, and Hanover, MD, will once again give us further opportunity to mingle afterwards with our Plus Ones as we celebrate another great quarter at Jovian Concepts. Part of our overall approach to effective communication, All Hands meetings provide Jovians with the chance to hear from and speak directly with company leadership.

For Jovians who enjoy a good book, Jovian Concepts again this winter offers a book giveaway. Jovians request a wide variety of titles that fit into our Core Value of Personal Growth. Wishes for everything from personal planners and fitness manuals to guides for meditation and Hygge living are granted through this annual perk.

To keep the pages turning, our Professional Development and Personal Growth Book Club begins reading this month The Remix: How to Lead and Succeed in the Multigenerational Workplace. Author Lindsey Pollak challenges everything readers think they know about Millennials, Boomers, Gen Z, and more.

Jovian Concepts is once again this year sending employees into the icy waters of the Chesapeake Bay! The athletes of the Maryland Special Olympics benefit from the Polar Bear Plunge, so we're pleased to offer this perk as part of our Philanthropic Mission to improve the community in which our employees live and work.
