Get Involved with Jovian Concepts-- Spring 2024

Spring has us eager to get involved and there's no better way than with Jovian Concepts. If you're wondering what our award-winning corporate culture is like, take a look at what's happening this season at Jovian Concepts.

Baseball season is off to a great start. We're pleased to offer Jovians and their families tickets to see local baseball. In Baltimore, we've already started accepting requests to use our season passes, and we're sending some lucky Jovians to Opening Day March 28.
Another great excuse to get outside is the AFCEA CMD 5K. We'll be sending a team of runners to help raise money for STEM scholarships. Later in the season, we'll send another team to the AFCEA Golf Tournament. Jovian Concepts is a proud sponsor of the programs AFCEA offers our industry professionals.
To get our fix of Skeeball and pinball this season, we're treating Jovians and their Plus Ones to a happy hour at a newly opened video game arcade in Columbia, MD. Playing retro arcade games together supports our Core Values of Balance and Cohesiveness, plus we look forward to any activity with "happy hour" in the title.
In April our Professional Development and Personal Growth Book Club begins reading Chatter: The Voice in Our Head, Why it Matters, and How to Harness It. Author Ethan Kross explains how to deepen relationships and find focus while dealing with our inner critic. The book club provides books in various formats to Jovians to enjoy at their leisure. An optional online forum guides conversation about the book and related topics to allow readers to expand on the reading.
This season we celebrate a favorite springtime tradition at Jovian Concepts-- the Founders Dinner. Jovians reaching seven or more years in 2024, who we affectionately call "7Ups," are invited to break bread in honor of the anniversary of our esteemed Vice President Heather Johnson. The event usually includes lots of storytelling, sharing of memories, and of course good food. Learn more about this tradition here.
Until April 16th we are collecting new pajama sets in all sizes for Casey Cares Foundation to provide movie night parties for families with critically ill children. Gift cards for movie and pizza services are also being collected. Items may be dropped off or mailed to our headquarters. If spring has you feeling lucky, you might have heard of our unique scavenger hunt happening until early April at Jovian Concepts. Throughout our communications are hidden thirty-two Lucky Charms. Anyone reading this has found Lucky Charm number 10. Congratulations!
