Get Involved with Jovian Concepts -- Late Winter 2023

Giveaway January is a tradition at Jovian Concepts that jump starts new year's resolutions in a fun (and free!) way. From taking a deep dive into Java to learning how to finally use that slow cooker, Jovians are encouraged to explore new topics during our book giveaway. The range of topics is as diverse as the Personal Growth goals of our Jovians.

This season our Professional Development and Personal Growth Book Club is reading The Psychology of Money, by Morgan Housel. The book complements several perks employees enjoy at Jovian Concepts, from the generous 401k benefit to the financial planning resources available. As usual with our book club, the topic is thought provoking and will likely spark some conversation at our upcoming All Hands meetings and happy hours.

In addition to our anticipated face-to-face opportunity to learn from our company leadership, there is much to keep us busy this season. We will be learning the art of curling in Maryland, so check back to see if we manage to stay upright on the ice. Board game night and "Un-Valentines" BINGO will keep us competitive while our compassionate side focuses on the upcoming Polar Bear Plunge to benefit young athletes and our Food Drive to fill the student pantries at CCBC.
