Get Involved with Jovian Concepts -- Fall 2021

As temperatures cool and leaves turn, this season has us busy at Jovian Concepts. With a diverse offering of social activities and professional development opportunities, there is something for everyone who is Down to Earth, Up to the Challenge.

The change of seasons provides the perfect time to reflect on strategies that support our Core Values. At our annual leadership retreat, Jovians had a chance to spend time away from distractions and focus on our corporate culture. This Jovian Concepts tradition has grown and changed over the years but remains a key part of the leadership development that builds the family atmosphere Jovians value.

Additional professional development opportunities this season include a popular PMP class. Employees are taking advantage of the Jovian Concepts 100% up front tuition coverage to advance their skillsets. By participating in our Professional Development and Personal Growth Book Club through PBCGuru, employees can also participate in chats with authors. Last month we had the opportunity to talk with Ozan Varol, and this month we begin Humble Pi: When Math Goes Wrong in the Real World, by Matt Parker.

'Tis the season for community outreach, and Jovian Concepts employees are eager to help. After a successful golf tournament to raise funds for the American Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces, employees turn their attention to local food banks with our annual food drive. Once the food drive ends, we switch focus to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign. We truly have the most generous community!

We look forward to the excitement of fall and will spend some of our energy on the cohesiveness we treasure. From a Jovian day at the Maryland Renaissance Festival, to Paint Nite, to our annual drink recipe contest, we are just getting the season started!
