Get Involved with Jovian Concepts Summer 2020

As we adapt to the safety guidelines of 2020 this summer, our cohesive culture is mostly nurtured through online interactions. Being Down to Earth and Up to the Challenge, employees of Jovian Concepts use creativity and innovation to bring our Core Values to life. Curious about some of the ways we stay together while maintaining a healthy distance? In addition to some of the activities we've held online for years, such as our virtual book club, some traditions are now on a virtual platform and some new events are quickly becoming favorites.

BINGO Night with our Vice President Heather Johnson is an easy-to-join crowd pleaser. A family-friendly activity, this recurring event includes witty banter, bad rhymes, and prizes.

Game Night this season is online with the team game Codenames. Hosted by our President Richard Scheper the evening is a fun way to try and figure out what fellow employees and their Plus Ones are thinking. An online trophy room gives bragging rights to winners of all our virtual games, including teams that out score others in our regular Trivia Nights.

This summer we held our ninth consecutive team building retreat. The 2020 trip was a hybrid event, allowing for a variety of comfort levels. Holding to tradition the celebration included dinner for both those in person and those joining remotely. Our talented teams expressed themselves through drawings, poetry, and various other surprising ways that kept us entertained and inspired. As much fun as we are having with technology, it feels good to get outside -- and Waverly Woods Golf Course has plenty of room to allow for social distancing. Golfing for a cause is a worthwhile way to spend a fall morning. Working toward our annual Jovian Concepts Golf Tournament we hope you enjoy following along as we share on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter why the American Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces is a valuable asset to our community. Corporate Foursomes are limited this year due to social distancing guidelines but several are still available on the Tournament page of our site.
