Dr. Scheper Appointed on CCBC Board of Trustees
President of Jovian Concepts Richard Scheper, Ph.D., has been appointed by Maryland Governor Larry Hogan to serve on the Board of Trustees for the Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC). Dr. Scheper was sworn in at the Baltimore County Courthouse last week in a lobby ceremony indicative of the COVID 19 pandemic so that he may begin his service.
In a process that started with his nomination, Dr. Scheper was vetted through both Governor Hogan and the state legislature.
The Board of Trustees for CCBC provides oversight for college operations, budget, academic programming, and planning. It is comprised of fifteen professionals from the seven councilman districts of Baltimore County.
Dr. Scheper is proud to further support an educational institution that has long been part of the philanthropic efforts of Jovian Concepts. CCBC provides inclusive, accessible, affordable, and high-quality education to local students and life-long learners. The school removes barriers to career preparation and advancement, and thousands benefit each year from CCBC programs, including U.S. veterans, service members, and military families.
