What's the Big Idea about Loyalty?
When Jovian Concepts employees discuss Core Values central to our corporate culture and identity, certain words are predictable: family, cohesiveness, fun.
It's easy to focus on the enjoyable aspects of being part of Jovian Concepts. Parties and retreats are visible components of life in our company-- easy to photograph and fun to plan, experience, and remember. They provide Balance and build Cohesiveness, two of our five Core Values.
But three years ago when our employees gathered to identify the five main values at the core of our culture, one word was repeated that wasn't as obvious or anticipated, and certainly more difficult to photograph: Loyalty.
At Jovian Concepts, Loyalty is part of the family feeling our employees cherish. Loyalty is evident in mutual respect and support. It reveals itself through a focus on being part of a group, on lifting up each member, on working through problems and celebrating together. If our Core Values were characters, Loyalty would be the one sitting quietly in the background while Cohesiveness and Balance get the attention. And that's ok. We know Loyalty is here.
We are currently experiencing a time when parties and gatherings can only happen online. Physical distance is a necessity and the future of in-person celebrating seems unclear. In times like this, Loyalty is comforting. We are still part of a group. We are still looking out for one another. We will get through this together.
