What's the Big Idea about Community?
Community involvement is important to the employees of Jovian Concepts. As part of our
philanthropic mission, Jovian Concepts supports causes that enrich the environment in which our employees work and live.
We do this in three ways.
Company-wide efforts focused on education, especially the Honors Program at Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) which makes higher education accessible to the community, and programs for the U. S. Armed Forces, such as our annual golf tournament supporting the American Red Cross Greater Chesapeake Region's Service to the Armed Forces
Individual efforts initiated by employees, such as blood drives, a variety of collections (Toys for Tots, cards for veterans, food for local food banks), and group participation in charity races
Sponsorships and participation in the philanthropic events hosted by other companies in our industry, raising funds for groups such as Platoon 22, RISE for Autism, and Heroes on the Water
Listening to employees to learn what causes matter most to them is an extension of the Core Values of Jovian Concepts. Promoting work/life balance is part of what we do; we are pleased to recognize that each of us is part of a larger group.
It's a Big Idea to give back to the community, and Big Ideas are Jovian Concepts.
