We are Grateful for our Employees
Regular 'all hands' and leadership meetings help Jovian Concepts employees regularly take time to reflect. Such reflection helps us focus on our core values of personal growth, loyalty, professionalism, balance, and cohesiveness. During this season of thanks, our reflection turns to the one key ingredient to the success of upholding such values: our employees.
In addition to bringing a high level of expertise to our customers and demonstrating unwavering commitment to the mission, our employees extend their talents and energy into the communities where they work and live. We recognize the importance of getting together socially just for fun, but social philanthropy adds an important layer to the cohesive nature of our company. Coming together to support one another and the causes close to our hearts reinforces the family-like atmosphere of Jovian Concepts.
This season Jovian Concepts employees are influencing their communities by working together on the following outreach efforts:
Volunteering at our annual golf tournament to raise funds for the American Red Cross Service to the Armed Forces;
Running as a team in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure to support a fellow employee and raise funds for cancer research, education, screening, and treatment;
Collecting winter wear for HopeWorks of Howard County, Maryland;
Participating in Wreaths Across America, happening next month across the country, to honor the memory of our veterans;
Supporting the Executive Alliance in their efforts to bring more women into corporate leadership positions;
Organizing a drive to provide needed goods and holiday greetings for veterans of Charlotte Hall Veterans Home;
Supporting a variety of charities such as Folds of Honor, Heroes on the Water, Salute Military Golf Association, and Wounded Warrior Project, by participating in the fundraisers of our friends and industry partners; and
Demonstrating commitment to community education through ongoing efforts with Community College of Baltimore County and with STEM awareness programs such as the Catch the Phish AI event organized in part by the Cybersecurity Association of Maryland, Inc.
Giving of themselves is just one of the many ways our employees prove they are Down to Earth -- Up to the Challenge. We are grateful to be part of such a strong corporate family. To our employees we say: Thank you for the marvelous things you do.
