Family Picnics are happening at many of our Jovian Concepts locations. These fun events include close friends and family members of our employees and are a good opportunity to show off some cooking skills. Or in the case of this year, some mixing skills in preparation for our first ever...

...Drink recipe contest. Suggested by an employee and his wife, Jovian Concepts is holding a just-for-fun contest to create and pick the Signature Drink to be shared at the annual holiday party this winter. Recipes that arrive in time for the Family Picnics will be tested and all employees and their over-21 Plus Ones will get a chance to vote.

The Jovian Concepts Annual Climate Survey going out this season is a chance for the employees of Jovian Concepts to share their thoughts on a variety of topics involving moving the company forward. One of many opportunities to communicate ideas, the Climate Survey is a chance to provide anonymous feedback to fellow employees. It is unique among other surveys that might pop up throughout the year because our Climate Survey is created, implemented, and analyzed by members of Jovian Concepts for the benefit of the whole group.

Game Night at Jovian Concepts happens in August, with one more chance to try some challenging board games before the kids go back to school. (There will be less-challenging games available for the kids to play.) Employees and their families are welcomed.

Baseball Season means it's time to relax with some stadium food while watching the hometown team do what it does best (for better or worse!). Employees can take advantage of tickets courtesy of Jovian Concepts to see the Orioles play at Camden Yards.

The Annual Jovian Concepts Golf Tournament to benefit the American Red Cross Greater Chesapeake Region's Service to the Armed Forces takes place October 5 at the Turf Valley Resort in Ellicott City, Maryland. With raffles, food, hot cider, and cigars, this fall day on the golf course helping active military, veterans, and their families, is the not-to-miss event of the season. Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure happens in Maryland October 13. This year employees are forming a team to support one of our own, meeting at our Jovian Concepts headquarters for breakfast before the big race. Anyone can contribute or participate by visiting the Race for the Cure web page.

Our professional Book Club this season is reading a choice of Influencer by Grenny, Patterson, Maxfield, McMillan, snd Switzler, or Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future by Vance.

Trying to Beat the Bridge November 4 will be a group of employees participating in the Across the Bay 10K Race Across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. This is an opportunity to see the bridge like few people ever do-- and to get some Jovian Concepts bragging bling for participating. Join the fun by visiting Across the Bay 10K.
