What's the Big Idea About Core Values?

When asked, "What do you value most about Jovian Concepts?" employees in Jovian Concepts answer in a variety of ways. Some focus on the character traits of the people working with them. Others concentrate on the activities Jovian Concepts plans around togetherness and team building. Yet, all answers have a common thread. The people who make up Jovian Concepts are our strength and greatest asset.

By working together to create a list of Core Values for Jovian Concepts, our employees echo the ideas they expressed years ago when they created our company Mission Statement: to consistently provide visionary solutions to technical and professional challenges by fostering an innovative, proactive, and cohesive culture for our customers and within the Jovian family. The outward facing aspect of our mission focuses on providing excellent service to our customers through integrity, trustworthiness, and professionalism. The inward facing mission creates a family atmosphere to foster personal growth and support for each other.

In our journey to articulate our Core Values, input from climate surveys, employee-created lists, and conversations held in both small and large groups are being condensed into a list. To be considered for the list, a value must be generated by the employees and must be evident as a founding value in the history of Jovian Concepts, Inc.

It is a Big Idea to spend this much energy on collecting employee input. At Jovian Concepts, we believe that a strong company culture is worth the effort.
