Dr. Scheper is Recognized for Outstanding Philanthropy

The Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) Board of Trustees recognized Dr. Richard Scheper for Outstanding Philanthropy as part of the Annual Foundation Leadership Recognition Awards on June 22, 2017.

Kenneth Westary, Vice President of Institutional Advancement, CCBC, Sandra L. Kurtinitis, Ph.D,, President of CCBC, and Stephen J. Nolan, Esq., Chair of the CCBC Board of Trustees, presented the awards during a ceremony held at the CCBC Catonsville Library. Dr. Scheper was acknowledged for his service on the CCBC Foundation Board, especially the attention he has given the Honors Program, which celebrated a diamond anniversary this year.

The CCBC Foundation has provided external funding support for programs and activities that benefit the college, including student scholarships, since it was established in 2005. Dr. Scheper is an alumnus of the CCBC Honors Program and has been pleased to give back to the college.
