What's the Big Idea about Work/Life Balance?

Promoting the balance between work and personal time is something Jovian Concepts has supported since our company started. Our employees live rich and rewarding lives outside of work, and that's part of what makes them so good at what they do. This post was originally shared in 2018.

What's your hobby? Chances are, you've got one. Whether it's beekeeping or channel-surfing, there is something you enjoy doing when you're not at work. At Jovian Concepts, we think those off-hours hobbies are important.

Part of living our mantra, Down to Earth--Up to the Challenge, is being real enough to recognize that happiness can be found in the little things. Jovian Concepts provides employees the flexibility they need to give attention to their non-work lives and find time to pursue those little things. Ample Paid Time Off (PTO) is just one of the ways we let employees know that it's OK to be performing in a band, scuba diving, beer crafting, playing with your kids, exercising, coaching, online gaming, or beekeeping. In fact, we encourage it.
